THE LOWER AIRE VALLEY VOLUNTEERS

We currently meet every Tuesday and the second Saturday of every month, carrying out practical tasks on 10 different nature reserves in the Lower Aire Valley which are managed in a partnership between Yorkshire Wildlife Trust and Leeds City Council. We are a really dedicated and varied group and are working hard to improve these spaces for wildlife and people alike. KIPPAX BAND
A reminder to those who like listening to brass band music is that there is a band concert on the second Sunday of every month throughout the year at 8pm in The Kippax Band Social Club.

RAINBOWS/BROWNIES/GUIDES 
These groups meet on various nights throughout the week. Membership is open to girls between the ages of 5 and 14 years. They all run a very interesting programme. KIPPAX ART GROUP,              

We are a self-help group whose members range from complete beginners, to experienced artists who are always happy to help and advise. It’s members work in a wide range of mediums. The group meet at 7.15pm to 9.15pm every Wednesday EXCEPT the 3rd Wednesday of the month at Gibson Lane community Centre. The fee is £15 a quarter, which includes refreshments.

The Readers Group now meet on the second Monday in the month from 5.45 to 6.45pm.
There is now a teenagers group who meet every fourth Wednesday from 5.30 to 6.30
Story time is on Fridays from 2pm to 2.30pm.
