Kippax Senior Youth Club
Leeds Youth Service

Our Youth Club is held in Kippax Kabin ( this is behind Cross Hills fisheries) on Monday and Wednesday evenings, 6:30pm-8:30pm.

During the last year we have worked on a range of projects including a Garden Project, where the young people of the youth club re designed the garden and arranged for heavier work to be carried out. The centre was also in need of updating, so our latest project was to apply for grant funding from LS Cash. Our application was successful and we have had a new kitchen fitted, new flooring and purchased a new pool table and furnishings.

These projects will not only be of benefit our group but also to other centre users.

At each session in the youth club a wide range of activities are available such as: - crafts, cooking, health related issues e.t.c. We recently invited ward councillors Keith Parker and James Lewis to a question time session; this was a good evening which gave young people a voice in their community. Young people who attend the club are also offered trips and residentials.

We always welcome new members aged 13-19 years, to our club.

Kind Regards

Kathy Bass and Will Bosanquet
